I'll make the post later tonight. I feel bad for it because everyone there seems really nice, but playing Kira sans memories is harder than I thought it would be, and there are a lot of other games I want to play at. So yeah.
Association meme from lanoyee.

Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

1.) Angel Sanctuary
It is one of the most cracked out, thoroughly bizarre and aggressively angsty mangas I have ever read, and I love it. Kaori Yuki's art is really, really beautiful, and her characters are very well-drawn even if they are all crazy self-absorbed psychopaths. But I tend to be drawn to crazy self-absorbed psycopaths anyway. So.

2.) Feminism
What can I say? I'm just really, really big on that whole having-rights-and-being-treated-like-an-actual-person "thing". It's this weird hang-up I have.

Okay, in seriousness, I recognize that many people, and particularly women, have a lot of good reasons not to identify as feminists while still believing in their own equality and acknowledging the ways in which it is still eluding us. Considering some of the issues the feminist movement has with inclusivity and intersectionality, I do sometimes question whether I even want to have the label anymore. However, I believe in reclaming the term, both from the crazy, straw(wo)man-spouting conservatives ranting about 'feminazis' who get all mad when you greet them with an open-palm smack on the ass, as well as from other, anti-intersectionalist feminists. (I also don't want to come off like I think I do a perfect job with this whole 'intersectionality' thing myself, because I know that I fail on that front A LOT and I have a lot of work to do. But I do want to do the work and while I know that can't, and shouldn't, rectify any mistakes I may have made, I do think it's important to want to do the work. idk. I'm babbling. This is why I need to stick to short, pithy answers.)

3.) Roleplaying
I was going to compare roleplaying to being back in high school, but actually, I think a lot of my friends in high school were more mature than most of LJ's roleplaying population. And my friends in high school were NOT particularly mature for high school girls. It's really more like being back in kindergarten. On that note, rinnington is a boogerbrain and I'm telling the mods she was mean to me.

4.) Your... home state. I forgot which one it was. |D;;
Her words! My home state, for the record, is Nevada. Nevada is a shithole. Never come here. Seriously. It's a disgusting, soul-sucking shithole.

5.) Writing
You can get arrested for masturbating in public, so I have to do this instead.

Before you ask, no I don't know who fed me my Frosted Bitch Flakes this morning. I'm actually in a pretty good mood, honestly.

HI EVERYONE WHO I JUST FRIENDED AND WHO MAY CHECK TO SEE IF THIS JOURNAL IS A BOT.

I am not a bot! Or a serial adder! I am Friday/Sam/sharkosaurus. I switched again. D: I am going to go around tomorrow and comment on your journals and let you know. I was going to do that tonight but it's late. So I'm putting this entry up as a placeholder so nobody thinks I'm one of those weird serial-adding bots that have been friending people lately.

If you want to un-add you, just let me know and I'd be happy to do so, no questions asked. :)

If you somehow find this journal and I didn't add you, please don't be upset. It's not that I didn't want to add you. In all likelihood I just forgot your journal's name. Or misspelled it. So if you want to be added for some unknown reason, just let me know and I will!

I think I should seriously start using this journal! :O Like, for real, and not just as a random placeholder for joining RPGs. It would be cool to see if I could get back into fanfiction and keeping a journal and everything again.

Though it'll probably just become Meme Central honestly. But even Meme Central is probably better than just random emptiness? :\ I hope? I think?
